Meats ground or prepared in-house may contain various meat cuts, fat cuts, trimmings, seasonings, or ingredients from multiple animal or food sources.

Cooking Process Statement:

 

During our cooking and preparation process, we utilize various oils, fats, broths, seasonings, rubs, sauces, marinades, and ingredients including, but not limited to:

  • Lard (pig fat)

  • Beef Tallow (beef fat)

  • Butter (contains milk)

  • Turkey Broth

  • Chicken Broth

  • Beef Broth

 

Pork, Beef, Chicken, Turkey, Seafood, and other menu items may be cooked in the same smokers, grills, fryers, ovens, preparation areas, or on shared equipment.

 

We may utilize pecan wood and other nut-producing woods during our smoking process.

 

Due to our cooking environment and processes, cross-contact between allergens and food products may occur. Ingredient suppliers and product formulations may change without notice.

 

Catering & Food Safety Disclaimer:

 

For catering, delivery, pickup, and off-site events, Porter Smokehouse BBQ is not responsible for food quality, freshness, safety, temperature control, contamination, spoilage, or foodborne illness once food leaves our possession or designated service control.

 

Customers are responsible for proper food handling, storage, reheating, serving temperatures, and timely consumption after pickup, delivery, or event service.

 

Food should not remain unrefrigerated or outside safe serving temperatures for extended periods of time.

 

Delivery and catering times are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather, staffing, equipment issues, venue restrictions, or unforeseen circumstances.
