Food Allergy Notice:

 

Menu items may contain or come into contact with common allergens including, but not limited to: Milk/Dairy, Eggs, Soy, Wheat/Gluten, Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Fish, Shellfish, Sesame, MSG, and other allergens.

 

While we strive to accommodate guests with food allergies and dietary restrictions, Porter Smokehouse BBQ cannot guarantee that any menu item will be completely free of allergens or cross-contact due to shared cooking surfaces, smokers, fryers, utensils, preparation areas, and food handling procedures.

Meats ground or prepared in-house may contain various meat cuts, fat cuts, trimmings, seasonings, or ingredients from multiple animal or food sources.

Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase the risk of foodborne illness, especially for individuals with certain medical conditions.

 

Customers with food allergies, sensitivities, religious restrictions, or dietary concerns should notify management before placing an order.

 

Cooking Process Statement:

 

During our cooking and preparation process, we utilize various oils, fats, broths, seasonings, rubs, sauces, marinades, and ingredients including, but not limited to:

• Lard (pig fat)

• Beef Tallow (beef fat)

• Butter (contains milk)

• Turkey Broth

• Chicken Broth

• Beef Broth

 

Pork, Beef, Chicken, Turkey, Seafood, and other menu items may be cooked in the same smokers, grills, fryers, ovens, preparation areas, or on shared equipment.

 

We may utilize pecan wood and other nut-producing woods during our smoking process.

 

Due to our cooking environment and processes, cross-contact between allergens and food products may occur. Ingredient suppliers and product formulations may change without notice.

 

Catering & Food Safety Disclaimer:

 

For catering, delivery, pickup, and off-site events, Porter Smokehouse BBQ is not responsible for food quality, freshness, safety, temperature control, contamination, spoilage, or foodborne illness once food leaves our possession or designated service control.

 

Customers are responsible for proper food handling, storage, reheating, serving temperatures, and timely consumption after pickup, delivery, or event service.

 

Food should not remain unrefrigerated or outside safe serving temperatures for extended periods of time.

 

Delivery and catering times are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather, staffing, equipment issues, venue restrictions, or unforeseen circumstances.

 

Certain menu items, catering packages, or custom requests may not always be available due to product availability, seasonal changes, or supply chain limitations.

 

Bone-In Meat Sandwich Warning:

 

Some sandwich items, including but not limited to the Angus Beef Dino Rib Sandwich and Pork Spare Rib Sandwich, contain bones. Customers must remove all bones before consuming. Failure to do so may result in injury to teeth, mouth, throat, or present a choking hazard. Consume with caution, especially when serving children.

 

Bone-In Meat Warning:

 

Some menu items, including but not limited to Angus Beef Dino Ribs, Pork Spare Ribs, chicken products, seafood items, and other bone-in meats, may contain bones, bone fragments, cartilage, shells, pits, or other natural food hazards. Please use caution while consuming these products, especially when serving children.

 

Smoked Meat Seasoning Notice:

Some of our Southern-style side dishes, including but not limited to cabbage, collard greens, green beans, butter beans, and black-eyed peas, may be prepared with smoked meats such as smoked turkey necks, ham hocks, or pork neck bones to enhance flavor. While we make every effort to remove all bones during preparation, small bones or bone fragments may occasionally remain in these dishes. Guests are advised to use caution when consuming these items, especially when serving children. Porter Smokehouse BBQ is not responsible for injuries resulting from bones or bone fragments that may inadvertently remain in our food.
